Emmy Chang, LMFT, is a compassionate and seasoned Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with two decades of experience supporting teens/ preteens, adults, couples, and families. Since beginning her practice in 2005, Emmy has been committed to helping clients deepen self-awareness and acceptance, heal relational traumas, and build more connected and meaningful relationships with self and others.
She specializes in working with bi-cultural (Asian & American) couples and inter-generational family dynamics, bringing a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens to her work. With warmth, presence, and deep attunement, Emmy creates a safe and supportive space for clients navigating identity, transitions, communication struggles, or complex family relationships.
Her integrative approach draws from Mindfulness Meditation, Psycho-Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment(ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral(CBT), Emotional Focused (EFT), and Structural Family System approaches.
